Worth Poem by Leanne Brigoli

Worth

Before, I used to breakdown and cry
All of these questions end up with whys
Why did someone choose to say "hi"
But later on, he says "goodbye"

Am I not worthy?
Worthy of a love that I haven't felt yet?
I thought it was true love,
But no says from Above

Stop looking for mere affection
Start pursuing God's direction
You can't please everyone
Love yourself and know your worth

Oh! You of little faith
Come to God and don't be afraid
Let Him hear you sing a song
Praise his name all day long

You are more precious than gold
You are worth more than sparrows
Let that be a promise to hold
From a loving Father, you have never known
