As one takes a step further, he can assess
That the life he currently has is such a mess
Turning the tables, he decided to do
Everything that is impossible just to prove to you

He feels hopeless but he keeps his pace
Struggling, aching, but focusing on the race
Though easily compared, he keeps on going
But you also need to realize that he is hurting

Fast as lightning, quick as its flash
You’ll see the work tasked, done without a clash
But why do you keep on asking for more
Without even checking on what he has in store

He can be a she, or a they or a we
He can be someone whom you always see
One day you’ll be faced with these similar things
Then you’ll realize that he can be ‘you’ who is distressing

He who is weak now shall stand tall one day
Because he didn’t give up and he paid the price he had to pay
One day you’ll look up to him and watch him from faraway
Realizing his worth and how he deserves everything he has today.
