Worn To Servicable Limit Poem by Erik Christiansen

Worn To Servicable Limit

And Love is a story
which ends in Graves
how fitting then
her zombie tattoo
a clapped out explorer
moans wretched sounds
as she drives away
or does my heart
In need of refurbishment
after thousands of hard miles
a rotor worn
to servicable limit
stomped out by women
with heavy feet and fast agendas
brake easily my dear
