Working On Super Me Poem by O Stephen Peart

Working On Super Me

I often wonder where I had lost my way
As I journey routinely through each day
Finding the strength the do my all
And trying to figure out what's my call.

I often wonder where might I have gone wrong
Feeling battled, weak and no longer strong
Wishing to know the truth I'm told
Firmly standing and living bold.

I'd lost my passion to live my dreams
Caught between the pages filled with screams
But I never stopped to figure how
Even though I was anxious to find out now.

I'm still working on a super me
Discovering the challenge of feeling free
Listening to the lessons I've learn over time
And taking ownership for this one life is mine.
