Work Poem by Marie Antoinette

Work

Rating: 5.0

Rustle, tear, rip and bite,
The office sounds taken over by the sound of a zoo at feeding time,
People stretching and reaching for the fridge,
Habit causes this 12.45 activity,
The day mapped out,
Fingers rush the letters of their favourite website in the search bar,
Quickly before time turns,
An hour of freedom before the clock strikes 1.45,
Slurp, Sip, twist and gulp,
Refresh and stretch,

Watch out the time will clock you down.

Tick tock,

Back to work.
