They can cause resentment the feelings they sting
Words used for to hurt can be a painful thing
And if with your words you do choose to be cruel
To ill feelings you surely will light the fuel
Words used in an unwise way to anger can give rise
Be careful with your words when you criticize
Do not reflect unfairly or do not pigeon hole
Since the one you are putting down like you has a soul
To your higher self do try to remain true
And only criticize those that criticism are due
Do not pigeon hole one who does not pigeon hole you
Leave that to Big Brotrher as that's what he likes to do
When you criticize choose the words you write or say
For words can be hurtful when used in a cruel way.
