Words can be so very hurtful some men never think before they speak
Men who weep aloud in public places should not be branded as weak
I cannot see it as unmanly if people their true feelings show
Rednecks may well define their ideas of manhood though little of Human feelings they know.

Tears should not be for women only human feelings to men too apply
Tears are for girls and women only is instilled in the young boy
He grows into a young male redneck not knowing about empathy
If young males were not inhibited about their feelings there would be less crimes against Humanity.

In some codes of Football it is seen as manly to physically assault the player with the ball
The hard men of the game in the barroom those who love football recall
Broken collar bones and cracked ribs and broken hand or leg they will tell you is only a part of the game
An assault on the Street and the Playing field in the eyes of the Law not the same.

That real men don't weep in public places seems like a load of rubbish to me
Of redneck ways and redneck thinking we well may never be free
Tears are not for women only since to weep is a natural thing
Yet of their stone faced old heroes you will only hear rednecks sing.
