Words Poem by Ananta Madhavan

Words

Words are like chessmen.
Each has a field of force,
Inter-fusing, inter-gripping.

Out of context, they rattle:
Mere chessmen in a box,
Banished from the board.

Thank you Sri Ram Iyer, Your comment is a boost to me. Please see if you like any of my recent offerings to PH. I am a Tamil who has sadly neglected reading and writing in the native language. Best wishes, AM
