Words Poem by Quinn Ferry

Words

I want to find words that haven't been worn like the rest.
I'll search for just the right way to convey my unrest when I hear phrases like
'Your eyes are two oceans blue.'
No.
Your eyes are two suns because contact with them makes my face red and I'm not supposed to stare, but I can risk a peek.
They breathe life into me.
I'm going to search for words unheard by the common listener like the way a deaf man realized symphonies begging to be dropped on ears that hadn't heard by a man whose ears could never
realize.
