Words Poem by ESPN CHICK

Why can't people just understand my words?
Cause they just don't want to understand them
They just want to put words in my mouth
That was never said at all

What's the point in trying to speak up?
When you know what you say is going to get shot down
Cause no one understands what they need to understand
They always butt into something that they don't need to be a part of

Always knowing what to say
But its always the wrong words
No one seems to get it
No one gets the big picture

Forget about everything I ever said
Cause it was probably wrong
These words I'm typing here tonight
Are not even worthwhile

But I feel like writing something new
I know no one will read them and understand
Maybe one or two will understand
Everyone else just seems to draw to conclusions

They never sit there and think about it
They just do whatever they feel like doing
What's the point of even trying to get through to them
Cause I know I will never win
