Woodlands And Rivers Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Woodlands And Rivers

Rating: 0.5

Fragments of Orion drizzle
Many faces, many opium identities
Ghost Dancers of Wounded Knee
Blood rains the sacred plains
Red Cloud sleeps on a hill
Noble earth as still as peace
Northern Lights with great feathers

Sleep under the stars
Feed a fire in the wilderness
Song of the wind
Prairie dogs and coyote
Minds of the pure natural order
Weathered faces
Beauty of clouds and rain

I sleep in a mandala
Awake like a man of the machine
Retreat into silence of the Badlands
Dream of Buffalo after the judgments
My dream Catcher fills with moonlight
A kindred soul and heart draws near
Trees whisper like a wedding bed

Woodlands and rivers in our kisses
