Won't Return Poem by Lauren Coles

Won't Return

We think we have unlimited time on earth,
But it doesn't work that way,
When you walk out the door in the morning you might not come back home,
It might be hard to get ahold of the family of the victim because they might be at work,
You might think that it is a dream but when you open your eyes it's real,
You have to come up with ways of breaking the heartbreaking news to kids,
Everyone has to take time to heal,
You can create a memory keepsake box to honor the person that is no longer here,
They are always in your heart.
