Without You My Life Is Hell Poem by Brett White

Without You My Life Is Hell

The days glide by me faster every day,
"I've always loved you, " is all I wish to say.
But to whom shall I speak in your absence?
Nothing in my life can replace your presence.
It's autumn again and the sunsets shine,
They beam like I did whenever you were mine,
Oh how long ago was it that I held you?
And though we don't talk I know you feel blue.
I guess I'm the only one who cannot cope,
Because without you my Spirits are a slope,
Whose descent always leads to darkness,
When to our memories I seem to regress.
The only light in this is I never gave up,
Even though in clinging my heart did erupt.
We're older now but surely no wiser,
Why is it I'll just remember you a liar?
The regrets you feel and felt will not fade,
With any kind of grace like an everglade,
Who's kissed by the sun as it drifts away,
Without you my life is Hell day after day.

Most beautiful, poignant, words of love ever written. Quite plainly.

Without love life fades away. It's autumn again and the sunsets shine, . Suicide is so sad and this is very painful. Death brings sorrow in mind. An amazing poem is well penned.
