Without You Poem by Renee Russon

Without You

Rating: 4.7

Without you there is no day
Without you there is no night
Only darkness through the mists of time
Without you there is no dawn
No sunrise just pain
No rain, only storm
Drowning in tears
The years
Know no difference
Without you I just exist
To eat, to live, to weep
My soul you keep
Without you there is only...I
Alone, in a desert,
Under a burning sky

A total aloneness, like wandering through the desert with no solace to be found. Without you I just exist, very apt description of lost love. Beautiful poem taking us down the path of darkness after love has disappeared into the sunset on another horizon. Tender words to be remembered in the future. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

A cry from the heart - I suspect a woman, perhaps of a certain age has written this poem. She is intelligent and erudite, regrets the passing of time and maybe yearns for a long lost love. Very moving and timeless.
