Without you here
near my side
keeping me warm
and helping me hide

There would be no one
to run to when the sky turns gray
or to even say 'how was your day? '

Without you here
wiping away all my tears
I would be a big mess.

Without you here
warming all my days
there would be no reason to wake up.

Without you here
to comfort me
there would be none at all.
You won't even
be here to catch me
whenever I fall.
