This poem is about my sister who is my best friend and my sister i look up to her in every way possible, i just recently had to move across the world away from her so i worte this because i was feeling pretty down.

the times we have spent
the laughs we have shared
the tears you have wiped
and the moments we have cherished
they are close to my heart
I’m holding on tight i swear
sometimes they almost slip away
the tears make it hard to hold on
i have our picture up on my wall
but how far does that get me?
were oceans apart and it still hasnt clicked
denial is my first resort
i dial your number knowing ur not there
my tears have run dry
and my cry has been silenced
its becoming reality
you’re my sister, I need you
why can't anyone see that?
Sacrifices had to be made
but why you?
I’m not ready to give you up
and I never will be
I miss your stupid jokes
your outstanding personality
the way you use to make everything okay
I cant even write this anymore it hurts...
