'Wishing Well' (Ballad Of A Player) Poem by Andrew Boyer

'Wishing Well' (Ballad Of A Player)

Rating: 3.8

Oh wishing well,
can I get a little help?
cant you tell?
that i'm Devastated

she broke my heart.
my hollow heart.
made me cry like a kid
never even dated.

Oh I'm usually the one
to say 'I Love You So'
To my next one night stand.
that I hardly even know.

They usually cry,
and cuss me on the phone
though every night I'm feeling guilty
at least I never feel alone.

Oh wishing well,
I wish I never fell.
for a woman so pretty,
and so smart

why can't I make her,
fall down in tears?
while she's got me falling apart?
this just cant be. she got to me.

she broke my empty shriveled heart.
