Winter Sun Poem by Kate Kate

Winter Sun

I'm staring at the winter sun
I think I'll blind my eyes
Cause when I can't see anything at all
Every thing looks so fine

I want to just close my eyes
See the world in a black
Cause with my eyes wide open
I see kindness is what we lack

A punch to the face
No warm embrace
Just give a me trace
That this could all turn around
A whip to my back
I feel its crack
The cold harsh smack
Our world has gone to hell

I'm looking into the winter sun
My eyes won't seem to blind
But the longer I stare into it
The less I want its shine

A punch to the face
No warm embrace
Just give a me trace
That this could all turn around
A whip to my back
I feel its crack
The cold harsh smack
Our world has gone to hell
