Winter Poem by tallulah montegue

Winter

Rating: 4.0

When the bitter cold day has come and gone
And my frozen heart has begun to thaw
I shall have a sip of wine then think
On thoughts and feelings of the day
And think of tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow
Where hope, love and goodness may yet be found
Before I am buried deep in the hard cold ground
