Winjeel Poem by Christopher Tye

Winjeel

Winjeel (Eagle)

Wings soaring you skywards,
Inspiring legends and myths across the world,
Nations using you as emblems and on flags,
Just like your ancestors,
Eagle eyes sighting your prey,
Earthly bounds don't tether you down,
Lofty Heights achieved and great distances covered.
