Wings Poem by Denise Zhou

Wings

Rating: 3.0

If you are hurt,
I'll be your ambulance.
If you feel sad,
I'll be your pillow.
If you're falling hard,
I'll be your parachute
to slow you down.

Because you mean so,
so much to me,
I am forever indebted,
to you, your life.

You've been a friend
an anchor
a cushion
my savior.

You still are.
I'll try to repay your
friendship, an impossible task.
That's how much you mean
to me.
I'll try to be your
savior, cushion, rock,
friend, parachute, pillow,
ambulance, your
Wings.
