Winds Shall Blow By Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Winds Shall Blow By

Rating: 5.0

Winds shall blow by and merrily singing
Through all the treetops and reaching so high,
Far up above my heart is now floating
Into the light of the glorious sky.

Winds shall blow by and merrily singing
Across all the meadows the rivers and streams,
Far up above my heart is now floating
Through all the clouds of my favourite dreams.

Winds shall blow by and merrily singing
Over the mountains the fields and the vales,
Far up above my heart is now floating
Over the hills and through wonderful dales.

Winds shall blow by and merrily singing
Over the oceans so blue and so wide,
Far up above my heart is now floating
Towards the shoreline with oncoming tide.

I need new words to express how I feel when I read your poems, the words I have are not enough to explain the joy that I feel when I read them. I wish I had your wonderful sense of explanation which is of such a high standard. You wrap your words around the mind in a special way. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
