Winds Of Change Poem by Dee Warren

Winds Of Change

Winds of change come blow my way,
Lift me up,
Take me back to the place,
Where my dreams were born from childlike faith,
And I felt the power of love all around me.
Winds of change come blow my way,
Lift me high to my secret place,
Where my heart once held true
To all the things I knew;
And yet still do now believe.
Exonerate me now,
Winds of change restore me somehow.
Come blow my way.
Pick me up and set me down
In a big ole happy place of new beginnings.
Give strength to my tired wings,
Oh mighty winds of change.
Let me soar like the eagle meant meant I to be.
Set me upon the highest mountaintop
Where I shall look out,
Behold, and embrace all of my dreams.
