Windows Of The Soul Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Windows Of The Soul

Steal me a happy ending
and leave me confused.
Blood from my tears
alone and abused.

I made you my everything.
I thought we would last.
You only wanted one thing,
to go back to your past.

Leave me speechless.
With nowhere to go
It was hello and goodbye
say it is not so.

Your words are so harsh.
I lose all control.
Your eyes became so cold
but they are the windows to your soul.
