Windblown Lies Poem by Barlot ...

Windblown Lies

So you're the one in the back
Whispering preconceived death wishes from my lips
Expecting pity
But getting nothing from me
A little something from him
Allow me to be immature for...
A moment and say I got more
I have more.
But 14 karats can't prove love
Only 24 with a promise
Not a lie.
Of course, that's all he gave me
And tossed himself to the curb
Smoking herb in the alley
Is the only escape.
You wouldn't know
With ignorance bound in leather
The only way to go
For someone as naive as you.
It's a good day for heels
And black metal.
I'd say I have the best end of the deal
I'm on the other line with him
But thanks for the concern
I guess you'll learn
They all do.
I did.
