Wind
By: Taylor Donnelly

Let me let me breath again

Let me let me breath again

Oh please let me breath you in

We are in the dance of light the chaos of sound

Crashing into air so fast we might drown

Your lips mimic beat battered words

And let the wind blow your hand like the wings of birds

Your stressed out and torn up

Teetering on the edge of your coffee cup

Faint neon light cuts though the dark

And you would rather keep your eyes on the mark

A pulsing white line telling you it will be fine

Let me let me breath again

Let me let me breath again

Oh please let me breath you in

Hold that chaos in your hand

Let it slip though like wet sand

The exits coming up on your right

And your brain tries to pick a fight

Saying 'keep going don't stop'

But by the end the coin will drop

And you cant run cant run away

Cant get your way no not this day

Rubber slaps against blacktop

And you really don't want it to stop

Let me let me breath again

Let me let me breath again

Oh please let me breath you in

Hold the wheel close hold it tight

Becasue it will lead you right

Right back to me

And how it should be

This fight will pass

This day wont last

And the air you grasp will leave you

As it allways has and allways will do
