hopes have shinned threw the darkest days
but joy seems to die and slowly fades
the pain takes control and locks up your heart
leaving you broken and it tears you apart
You tell someone you love them and then you get torn
so you react harshly and then the tears are born
you cower into solitude to never see the light
your hearts been broken so many times and now you give up the fight
why dose love have to be so cruel? to give you such feelings
but never dose it help when you loose it for it gives you no healing
you'll wither away unless someone comes back
to take the time to stitch up your wounds and fill up the cracks
But will you allow them to take the simple time
to show you their heart and they wont Comit the crime
of taking your heart and breaking it up again
so take your heart and let the healing begin
