Destruction leads to devastation
Corruption leads to changing
Being blind will kill you
But seeing for your own two eyes
Could scar you for eternity
To choose death over an eternity of sorrow
I see the path quite clearly
Expansion of my broke wings
To possibly have them healed
To open my heart to the touch of the wind
And allow my self to be set free
Don't bottle up my emotions
Or push me to the side
I want to feel your emotion
And be the intensity you see in your eyes
I never want to be a lost song in the wind
My wings wish to expand and be touched again
The dedication taken in mending up the bruises
Is starting to wear thing but your touch seems to heal
Please don't hold me so tight, you might break me
But don't hold on to little or one day I could be gone
Set my heart free and let the flames burn with love
Or is this something you wish not from me
Do you want me to hid the expression I get on my face
When you stroke my wings and kiss my face
My eyes light up with the taste and I can never have enough
Please don't let me relive my flaw again
Take my hand and please don't let me run away
I have done this time and time again
Out of fear that I could finally find something
That wont destroy my heart and break me
Could you convince me your not that type
Show me your hearts true and lead me
Set free your own wings and come fly with me
Or will you become nothing but a forgotten memory
I don't want that to happen so please prove me wrong
Tell me the truth, and let me hear that song
My body aches to feel the winds embrace
My wings want that silver kiss
The blood has dried and washed away
And I look at you and thank you
You helped mend a broken soul
But do you even know you did this
Do you even see how much I care
Am I wasting energy on nothing
Something tells me that's not the case
You wont break my wings again
Not after they just mended and I can sore
I'll take your hand and bring you with me
Will you kiss me in the air
But perhaps my wings failed on me
Would you save me
Or if I did hit the ground beneath us
Would you fall next to me
And take my hand in your own
Kiss away my bloody tears
And whisper to me three words
I love you
And let me die in bliss
Knowing you tried to save me but failed
But I know we would meet again one day
So I'll pluck one feather from my wings
Blow a kiss with it and send it to you
It will touch your cheek for me
And tell you what's in my heart
How I'll always be with you
And that I love you will be whispered
On the singing winds
