Wildflowers Poem by Jane Skidmore Bennett

Wildflowers

Rating: 4.0

I am lying in a field of wild flowers
And the sun is shining so intensely
There are so many colors I have lost count
The beauty of these flowers have such an effect on me
This is where I come to make peace with some of life's problems,
Because while I am here I have none
The wind is blowing just enough to bring out the scent of
All the individual flowers
I lose track of time when I am here
For there are no people, no sounds at all
It is my magic place
And whenever I leave, I am still content
Because when life gets tough, I close my eyes wherever I am
And dream of my field of wildflowers !!!
