Someday, one day, I will travel half the world for you
Will you..
Do you believe my incredible promise?
Should I wait to make the journey one day for real
Which I have made a million times in my mind
Would you still smile the same way..I think
But that is not the point
Point is would you be there…smiling
Waiting to take me home like you always did
Or like so many apparitions of the mind
You too will have been blown away with dust.
But I make one incredible promise
My last journey will be…to you.
