Why Not Dare To Dream In 2019? Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Why Not Dare To Dream In 2019?

Could anyone tell me why we should not dare of dream wonderful things in this year 2019? Let us try ignoring the newscasters messengers of forecasting doom and gloom.

For bright positive news, do they leave enough room.
Tragedy and grief always seem to win the day.
Bad news will not currently fade away into
dim memories of yesterday.

It is alright, we have an advocate in Jesus Christ.
Every passing year is an extended year of his grace,
and his gift to the entire human race.

We are to dare to dream about our human potential in our lives.
How best to love one anther and remain disciples of Jesus Christ.
We need to watch, wait, and pray.
Jesus Christ promises to return without any
further delay.

Escaping far from the maddening crowd.
We can focus on our dreams aloud.
Our dreams can govern, but not rule over our lives.
We need remembering the best part of our reality,
belongs to our friends and family.
