People are afraid of their past, scared of the present! Right now today;
They close their eyes and start to pray!

Why, so afraid of the past?

Regrets! Regrets! We are scared forever,
If we talk and listen, we'll get past them. together!
Tragic events, that break our hearts;
By thought, we're at fault and tear us apart's.

Why so afraid of the past?

What are we, as a people, so afraid of? Fear and anxiety, are what we're made of?
I believe our pasts, come alive today,
As we pray to the Lord, please make them go away?
