Why do we say goodbye?
Is it because life no longer tried?
Why do we say goodbye?
Is it because the river ran dry?
Why do we say Goodbye
If flowers still bloom today?
Why do we say Goodbye
If all the ripples still sway?
Beyond my comprehension
I am living in so much pain
And my tears fall down in vain.
My heart brings out its deepest bleed
My tears give my sincerest blend
For this heartache to mend.
Why do we say goodbye
If we have the dawn yet to enjoy?
Why do we say goodbye
If seasons still bring us joy?
When I already need to off send
Let me bring your earnest love
Let me just whisper to the wind
My most quiet moment above.
And then my heart goes
with the sad rhythm of yours
Until the time my eyes close.
But yes I cannot disuade His will
Just let it be my last consolation
and remedy for a sad farewell.
