why cant i be normal
in every way
from the way i dress
to the things i say

i wonder why i am so different
why im odd and don't belong
i wonder why my friends abandoned me
and why i was made so wrong

i didn't ask to be this way
i didn't ask to be who i am
what have i done wrong to the gods?
how did i make them so mad?

everyone i meet
gets tired of me quick
they say they are my friends
then leave me to defend
all alone against the cold dark night.
