Whole Hearts Poem by Katy Lue

Whole Hearts

My tears are warm and salty
with love
lust
and desire
My tears race around my cheeks
untill finally they tire
I never thought this would happen
especially not to me
I thought it was only in movies
but this is the harsh reality
the truth that burns within
the truth that kills my soul
the truth that stings inside my tears
and never leaves any hearts whole

cloud wrests rays to reflect on skin of earth heart loses to resonate being bereft of red falling tear ruffles over rune of longing love seems to desiccate as when shadowed, passionately hurtful yet poignant write,10+, thanks for sharing
