research has focused on
improving and amassing
weapons of mass destruction

advancing the lives
of citizens has been
a mere side effect
of research production

millions are dedicated globally
to military service potentially
killing citizens of other countries

a mere handful by comparison
are able to devote their lives
to causes of peace or agendas

to better a global society
free of political restraints
imposed homeland limitations

a mere handful by comparison
are willing to devote their lives
to international peace causes
