Who I Am Poem by Riley Choma

Who I Am

I am a collaboration; I am what they see, want to see, and me.
Yes it’s true, these people hate a me that they have yet to even meet.
They hate parts that I have yet to even show, and hold up praise for the facade I show...
I am a disconnected link.
Am I who they want me to be, what I see, or me?
My mind lives in a haze.
I don’t know who I am, who I should be or why they want me to be the opposite of me...
Is it any surprise that some days I can’t remember this person that goes by the name of me?
Yes all of this may be true, but I haven't forgotten who I want to be...
