Who Dares Love Flight Flying Too High Poem by Terence George Craddock

Who Dares Love Flight Flying Too High

the price of love
is the freedom to walk
on clouds weightless
never touching the ground

the price of love
is the chance
to borrow angel's wings
then fly close to the sun

the price of love
flying weightless
on angel's wings
to near burning sun

is when waxed in feathers
our borrowed liberation wings
wax melting melting melting fall out
great heights no longer tolerate sustain

the price of love
is long deadly fall
when we aspiration soar
to close to burning sun

at our own peril
in ephemeral love
in light flight cloud step
is myth risk real potential fall risk
