Who Cries? Poem by Noelle Fauvelle

Who Cries?

Who cries for the lonely
When the night's curtain falls?
Who breaks the silence
When their soul's begin to call?
So many walk this life
With none to call their own.
For some it's worth the wait
But most remain alone.
Is anyone listening?
Does anyone really care?
Lost in a world of selfishness
Life has not been fair.
If a picture is worth a thousand words
And silence is golden they say,
Then why so many empty nights
Day after day?
