Who Are Nurses? Poem by Blake Val Noir

Who Are Nurses?

Who are nurses...

The clever elves of doctors,
The dealers of care and thought?

Who are nurses...

The empathetic sort,
who break the barriers of fear?

Who are nurses...

Ones who come near,
That touch the hearts of all?

Who are nurses...

People answering the call,
To go far and beyond?

Who are nurses...

Those who respond,
At the hardest of time?

Who are nurses...

Forgivers of crime,
Ears that listen, hands that save?

Who are nurses...

The ordinary made brave?
The ordinary... made brave...
