Who am I, I don't know?

My grandma said that I am the unwanted child of 'the family'.
My father says I am the 'useless investment ' on my family.
My neighbours' gossip I am the 'characterless' child of the family.
And still....
I don't know who am I?

Did am I?
I am the one who will make her father proud by getting an 'Olympic medal'.
I am that who will hide her brother's secret from the family.
I am the one who will take care of her family whole life after their 'proud son' betrayed.
