Who Am I Poem by Jazz Jazz

Who Am I

Rating: 5.0

Who am I
When the I is lost
Its sparkling flame has been destroyed
And its soul is utterly drained
This pain so huge, yet so hard to explain
So terrible, so frightening
And your tears mingle in the rain
This loss of happiness, loss of light
It wreaks havoc in your head
Always thinking about death
Burning, still shivering
Wounds open, the heart so broken
Those cannot be mended
The heart is ripped into pieces
You smiled
But you always pretended
The darkness surrounded your soul
Left no small light
Not one happy sound
And the body froze
Its legs are numb and you're pinned to the ground
So why try to rescue what cannot be rescued
Because the I is nowhere to be found
