White Iris Poem by Jay Joaquin

White Iris

Rating: 5.0

White Iris

the absence, the purity, your meaning profound
so soothing and understood without whispering a sound
your expression is one that cannot be seen or heard
your absoluteness cannot be spoken through words

you possess the presence of great wisdom and pride
as you shine alone above all, i’m wishing you were mine
but you’re meant to be something greater than nothing
it’s what I have foreseen, it’s your unyielding destiny

of which what will forever go untested and unsolved
of which your silence is how every imperfection is dissolved
your silence is the sound that puts everything to rest
but yet its your beauty that puts my loyalty to the test
