White Dove
There was a huge round of applause
When a cute and little white dove
Was shot at & injured by a stubborn boy
With the licensed gun of his father
Who was watching it with bewilderment
No empathy, healing or love for the dove
Lovely poem, very topical in today's violent culture, and gun culture.

Just with six lines you have made bare the gun culture of the people in the modern era. .Doves are birds most docile and harmless. To shoot down a dove, i feel is an act most cruel. Imagine! clapping and rejoicing the killing of an innocent being........Rajnish ji an intense poem....10
