I am from everywhere
A place that no kid should see
Where the adult world has over come
And the kids try to flee
I am from a place where there are no innocent eyes
Or people who care
Just pain and real life
And sorrow as sharp as a knife
I have traveled the world
And seen beautiful things
But I have seen the darkness
That lurks with in human beings
I am from a place where no kids exist
We salvage what we can
We know there are no exits
Raising ourselves wasn't our ideal plan
Now I am from the place
Where the teenagers lurk
Realizing that it's to late to go back
And put on a smirk
Now I an from a place
Discovering new things
And wonder if this is my true place in life
Or if I will be able to silence the strife
We all hit this point
Where we discover who we are
But I can't help but to ask
'do I have very far? '
Now I decide where I'm from
I am from a place that's taught me
That's sculpted me
But most importantly.........
It's made me who I am!
