Where have the swallows gone?
Could they have been swallowed by the inhabitants?
I do not know perhaps
they flew through our WhatsApp
we see them flying, but we couldn't catch them
now they remain as our attachments,
Where have the swallows gone?
Don't you really know?
in which courtyard, in which regiment?

What an ingenious use of words! I really enjoyed the pun but there's more to this poem than just humour. It has depth. It has an undercurrent of melancholy at our disconnection with nature and obsession with technology.
