Where First My Faith I Found Poem by Susmit Panda

Where First My Faith I Found

Where first my faith I found
There I find my unconsuming smile;
Where things are always sound
There my drunk veins to health compile;
Where purls the nectar of peace
There my bubbling ecstasies are healed;
Where there's no gold to seize
There my lust is sloughed and peeled;
Where there's no charm to praise
There I find the wizard in my heart;
Where there is no sun to chase
There the despairs of my night part;
Where there's no clod to wonder
There my tormenting amazements still;
Where walks no wealthy lender
There I am lent grain for my starving gill;
Where abounds no pleasure
There the forgotten beats of Hope trigger;
Where there's forever no treasure
There I can shriek that I am no beggar
