Have I made a mistake
Is all this worth the heart ache
You said you didn't know if you were ready
For us to start going steady
But now I have some doubt
Wondering if I should just get out
Why does this have to be so hard
It leaves my insides all scarred
I don't know if I should regret
Or just be happy that we met
I don't know where I will go from here
I'm heading out on this new frontier
Shedding the feelings and letting it ride
I will float in and out with the tide
In your favor, out once more
In the end, when we tally up the score
Will we make it through
Or will I no longer be with you
