One year ago today
I was sure alone I would stay
But by chance you came along
The smell in the air strong
The chill of the weather crisp
Love on the wind in a wisp
By the starlight in the lake
My heart you did take
And now here we are
After we have come so far
One year, countless tears
Countless laughs, lost fears
Now by your good grace
Would you keep me in this place
Keep me in your heart
Because I will do my part
To spend my life with you
All the way through
