When You Think Your Way Is The Only One Poem by Eric Kaesberg

When You Think Your Way Is The Only One

'Looking to stand out in the crowd and wanting to keep his rank and status. His current situation is irritating him because he can't seem to find anybody out there who values the same high standards he does. He is feeling high on the top of the world. He is in denial while his loneliness keeps him isolated and wants to give in to his carnal urges, but can't bring himself to appear weak in the eyes of others. You see he's always right what would they say if they knew I was living this great big lie. Wants others to see his unique qualities and character but knows deep down inside he can't let anyone know he come off as needy, so instead he has an ''I don't care'' attitude and pushing people away. One day they will regret I am found always to be right, all that I do is the best and better then you. He turns his back on those who criticizes his behavior, but beneath his indifference is a person who is in desperate need of approval.'Feels unhappy and isolated because he is unable to succeed in finding the cooperation and understanding he desires. That's why he has to lie so those who know him will look at him and say wow he can never be wrong his way is the best and to strong. Applies tough standards to his potential partner and demands an unrealistic perfection in his life.
